“Likewise deacons must be reverent, not double-tongued, not given to much wine, not greedy for money, holding the mystery of the faith with a pure conscience. But let these also first be tested; then let them serve as deacons, being found blameless.” 1 TIMOTHY 3:8-10
Pure motives should govern the conduct of every God-fearing deacon or leader
The litmus test of servanthood is the service to God with a pure conscience (2 Tim 1:3). Pure motives derived from a pure conscience (2 Tim 1:3). Pure motives derived from a pure conscience form the signposts of a blameless walk. The threehold qualities of good conduct and prudence in financial stewardship. The blameless leader who walks in His fear will win the approval of heaven smiling over his path.

1 TIMOTIUS 3:8-10
